I have a mobile home and they built it so cheap they did not put ceiling lights in the bedrooms. The switches by the entrance doors operate electric outlets so I guess they expect you to plug in lamps which would be operated by the switches.
What should I do? Wire in some ceiling fixtures or just use lamps plugged into the outlets. I am planning on trying to sell shortly.

A swag hanging lamp would work great, screw a plant/swag hook into the ceiling
